6 November 2002 – Norway

Weather is overcast with rain showers this morning. Otherwise today starts similarly to yesterday – only without the briefing. We soon find a group of whales that we watch for a while before moving on to find a second group who are much more playful spy hopping tail-lobbing, etc.

Tonight’s speaker is Paul Spong from Canada. Amongst other matters he also fills us in on the story of (the Free Willy Whale) Keiko’s reintroduction to the wild. It is a clear night tonight so we are able to fit in some Northern lights viewing around dinner before the whale ceremony, George’s Photo’s, Anthony’s video and, tonight Tom’s whale watching video.
